Politis
Every bill version the House and Senate publish, newest first, alongside what the White House is issuing and what reached the floor.
Read what Congress is doing. Politis turns the bills, versions and actions published by GovInfo and Congress.gov into something you can actually follow: every bill version as it's printed, the full text laid out like a book, plain-language summaries, who sponsored it, and how far it has gotten.
What it can do
- Follow the latest from Congress. Every bill version the House and Senate publish, newest first, plus what the White House is issuing and which bills reached the floor.
- Read a bill like a book. A title page, a page for each title and subtitle, a searchable table of contents and page turning. The text is drawn natively, with section numbers, nested paragraphs and amended text set apart the way the web reader shows them.
- Understand where a bill stands. A progress tracker from introduction to law, the CRS summary for each version, every recorded action, related bills, cost estimates, subjects and cosponsors.
- Search everything. Bill numbers ("H.R. 1"), titles, phrases from summaries, presidential documents and members of Congress, with matches highlighted.
- Look up members. Their party, district, terms of service, office, and the bills they sponsor.
- Save bills. Follow a bill once and every version of it is followed; see them all in one place and get notified when they move.
- Stay in the app. Links to the U.S. Code, Congress.gov, PDFs and members' websites open in an in-app browser sheet.
- Light, dark or system. The same palette and serif headings as the website.
